UNLEASHING THE MAXf=ma

01About
Who am I?
I like to mine Data, both in batch & streams. Professionally, I've been building ETL pipelines in AdTech; lately trying to combine data foundations over the years with AI Infrastructure, learning how to host, scale and serve models in production.
I like driving strategy both at work and in personal life, through data. I love everything about football ⚽
This chapter of my life is called San Francisco Days

Why this blog?
This blog is a reminder to "Control Uday, Control" in life & leave a digital trace of my mindset/self. I believe there're secrets to this life and only a very tiny subset/fraction of people seem to have unlocked it.

“All beings are mortal. But just like the Sun, you could shine until you die out.”
- 01
Pollution is like corruption in America, so transparent one cannot see it
- 02
Most in the motherland want to speak English while it's the opposite abroad
- 03
In a planet where humans are in abundance, status is slowly becoming an obsession; Confidence being directly proportional to Wealth. Niceness seems to fade away
- 04
People are not afraid to speak their hearts out, caring very little about how messages get conveyed across. On the other hand, the more knowledge I gain the less confident I've become
- 05
Regret is the skin we shed to make it thus far. Ideals are peaceful. History is violent.
- 06
You gotta believe it's already yours. That's the secret of manifestation. The most priceless asset in the world is your mindset.
- 07
Most people seem to wear a certain black thread around one of the legs, almost like a prisoner of sorts
- 08
People wear masks all the time, hiding the true self must be so much work. Camouflage is nature's craftiest skill
- 09
Darkness is defined by the light. There must be light somewhere for darkness to exist
- 10
Faith is a very powerful tool. You can dump a man of faith in garbage but he'll still come out scented. You can bury him in the middle of the ocean but he'll still come out dry. You cannot defeat a man who doesn't care about pain, failure, rejection, loss, disrespect, or heartbreak. You CANNOT touch them.
- 11
Weather conditions are proportional to people's moods. Just like micro climatic conditions, people also tend to have micro moods
- 12
Psychopaths are an indispensable demographic
- 13
All things, good or bad, must come to an end. Memories are the only entity that stay.
- 14
Everyone is high on something; some on desires, some on drugs, some on passions, some just on life.
- 15
Intimacy is like a flower. It blooms in a healthy relationship, and disappears in a sick one.
- 16
People don't decide their futures. Their habits and choices do.
- 17
Instinct is a lie told by a fearful mind, hoping to be wrong.
- 18
The first step to thinking clearly is to question everything we think we know about the past.
- 19
Peter Thiel might be the only true king maker known to our generation.
- 20
Substance abuse is somehow related to escaping reality. You can run, you can hide but reality always catches up. You can never trust a person on substance.
- 21
Money might not be the root cause of all evils in a modern society. Laziness almost certainly is.
- 22
It's been long since humanity has had a new form of governance, a new way of life. A social, cultural, economical reset is inevitable and long overdue.
- 23
People who don't wish to raise kids are selfish and must silently hate themselves.
- 24
Wealth is not created by saving, but by giving. A lot.
- 25
A confident star shines the brightest. It's also the brightest star that burns the fastest.
- 26
The world is aggressively getting divided between 2 groups: Watchers and Doers. And they usually tend to be mutually exclusive.
- 27
Just like to win a battle, one must let go of the emotions — to win at life, one must let go of the ego
- 28
Exposure is overrated. In the information era, it's good to not know.
- 29
Sometimes, it might appear that the only choices are to swallow your anger or to throw it in someone's face. But there's a third/wiser option, to just let it go
- 30
Once one has learned to zoom out enough to have a perspective of what's happening at the zoomed out level, unfortunately, it's difficult to zoom back in again. I call it the hierarchical curse.
- 31
Laughter & yawning are mostly contagious, and so is niceness. If the nice game is played well and with the right attitude, you may have successfully spread niceness.
- 32
We're almost at the brink of a revolution where information+knowledge no longer is a differentiating asset. Application of knowledge, also known as Wisdom, is likely going to decide winners that drive humanity.
- 33
'We can't always get what we want' may not be completely true. It's sometimes the extent of sacrifices/changes one is willing to make to achieve them.
- 34
One of the easiest ways to be happy/content is to adjust your expectations.
- 35
You can only get smarter by playing smarter opponents. Your company is a big part of your personality, your character.
- 36
Privilege is a double edge sword. Often times, the unbeaten are the ones who have nothing to lose.
- 37
There's no reason to drink the whole sea to figure out that it's salty
- 38
History is written by winners.
- 39
The difference between animals and humans is animals may never choose the weak to lead them.
